Frequently Asked Questions
Find quick answers to common questions about the platform, credits, and infrastructure.
For End-Users (Consumers)
How do I claim my QR Code and why do I need to log in?
To claim ownership of a newly printed QR Code, the first person to scan it must log in. The login process (via Magic Link or Google) securely links the code to that email address, ensuring only the true owner can change the destination link or message. No passwords are required.
I didn't receive my login email. What now?
Please check your spam or junk folder. For security purposes against bots, the system blocks multiple consecutive login attempts. If the email has not arrived, wait at least 60 seconds before requesting a new Magic Link.
Do I have to pay a subscription to keep my QR Code active?
No. Access to the dashboard and the ability to update your item is completely free for you.
How many times can I change the destination or message?
You can update your content an unlimited number of times. Whether you want to switch from a text message to a GIF, or update a website link, the physical QR Code will instantly route to your newest saved setting.
Are my links and messages public?
Anyone who scans the physical QR Code will be redirected to the chosen destination or see the typed message. However, to protect your privacy at the infrastructure level, all texts and links are encrypted inside the database.
Why did my link show a security error?
All URLs entered into the platform are automatically checked against the Google Web Risk API. If a security error appears, the destination link has been flagged as potential malware or phishing and blocked to protect users.
Are there rules for what I can post on my QR Code?
Yes. The platform prohibits sharing illegal, offensive, harmful, or malware content. For safety, every scanned page includes a "Report" button. If a QR Code is reported and verified to violate the Terms of Use, the platform may permanently suspend the offending code.
Can I give my item as a gift or sell it?
Yes. Using the “Account Settings” panel, an item can be unlinked (“Unclaimed”) from the current account. This resets the QR Code to its factory state, allowing the next person who scans it to become the new owner.
Merchants: Billing & Credits
I purchased a package. Why haven't my Moods updated yet?
Payments are processed securely via Paddle. Depending on the payment method and external anti-fraud checks, it may take a few minutes for the transaction to clear. The credit balance will update automatically as soon as the provider confirms the payment.
Do Moods ever expire?
No. Purchased credits (Moods) do not expire. They remain securely in the account balance until they are used to generate new QR Codes.
Where do I find my invoices and receipts?
Invoices and downloadable PDF receipts can be accessed directly from the “Billing History” tab inside the “Settings” page.
If my internet drops during ZIP generation, do I lose my Moods?
No. The database transaction is atomic. If the file generation batch fails or the browser connection drops before the final sync is completed, credits are not deducted from the balance.

What file formats and sizes are supported?
We support PNG and SVG files. To ensure smooth local processing in your browser, the maximum file size is limited to 15MB per template.
Why am I restricted from using the color #FF00FF in my art?
The exact magenta color (#FF00FF) is strictly reserved as an anchor. The system deletes this specific color block and injects the dynamic QR Code exactly in its place, edge-to-edge. Because of this, you must never use #FF00FF anywhere else in your artwork, or the system will accidentally punch transparent holes in your design.
How should I configure the QR Code and Background colors?
These settings define how the final QR code will look when it replaces your magenta anchor:
- QR Code Color: The color of the QR pattern itself (or the solid stencil block, if Inverted Mode is enabled).
- Background Color:The color that fills the “hole” left behind when the system deletes the magenta anchor.
- Use a specific Hex color (e.g., light green): If your magenta anchor sits inside a colored shape in your artwork, set the background to match that exact color. This ensures the hole is seamlessly filled before the QR code is applied.
- Use “transparent”: If you want the physical product's material (like the t-shirt fabric) to act as the background and show through the empty spaces of the QR code.
Note: If you select two colors with low mathematical contrast, the platform will display a warning. Cameras require a distinct difference between the light and dark elements to scan successfully.
What is the Inverted Mode and when should I use it?
Standard QR scanners are hardwired to look for dark squares on a light background.
If you put a normal QR code on a dark product, it usually fails. Dark ink on a dark product has no contrast. Changing the ink to a light color (like white) also fails, because cameras struggle to read “negative” codes (light squares on a dark background).
Inverted Mode solves this by acting like a physical stencil. Instead of printing the QR data itself, the system prints a solid block of your chosen QR Color (e.g., white ink) and leaves the actual QR code data transparent. The dark color of the physical product shows through the transparent areas, creating the perfect contrast for cameras.
What happens if I use an “Existing QR ID” in Quick Studio?
This feature allows you to inject a previously generated QR code into a new design template. Because you already generated this QR code in the past, doing this will not deduct a Mood from your balance.
Warning: A single QR ID can only be claimed by one person to display their content. If you print the exact same Existing QR ID on 50 physical items, only the very first customer who scans one of them will gain ownership of the dashboard.
Why is my Printful/Gelato sync delayed?
Order imports depend entirely on the response times of the third-party partner APIs. If an order was just placed on an external store, it may take a few minutes to appear in the Factory queue.
Can I connect multiple stores? Are my API keys secure?
Yes, multiple stores can be connected to centralize the order queue. All API keys and OAuth tokens are strictly protected with AES-256-GCM encryption at rest in the database.
How do I link a design template to a specific product?
You only need to link a template once. When you map a design template to an incoming external order (from Printful or Gelato), the system securely saves that product's unique Synchronization ID.
For all future orders containing that exact same product variant, the platform will automatically pre-select the correct design template for you, saving you time and streamlining your production queue.
How do I match the downloaded arts to my customer's orders?
Every file inside the downloaded ZIP archive follows a strict naming convention to prevent manufacturing errors. The file name will always include the Order ID, the unique QR UUID, and the base template name.
For example: #1234-qrXYZ123-butterfly-design.png. You can use these file names to safely match the exact artwork to the correct order slip before sending it to your print provider.
Is there a batch limit in Quick Studio?
The maximum limit per manual batch is 50 units. This limit is enforced to ensure browser stability, as the final high-resolution image processing occurs locally on the device. For larger volumes, please process them in separate batches.
How do I test a physical product before shipping it?
To test a received physical product, scan it and complete the “Claim” process to verify its functionality. Afterward, navigate to the “Personal Claimed Moods” panel and click the “Unclaim” button. This resets the QR Code back to its factory state before it is shipped to the final customer.
Merchants: History & Data
Do downloads from the History page consume Moods?
No. Re-downloading a previously generated QR Code ZIP file is entirely free. Similarly, injecting an “Existing QR ID” into a new template via Quick Studio does not consume any new Moods.
Why did my download button disappear, showing "Template Deleted"?
To optimize privacy and platform efficiency, final merged images are generated locally and are not stored permanently on external servers. If the original design matrix (Template) is deleted from the Gallery, the system can no longer reconstruct that specific QR Code artwork for download.
What happens to my customers' products if I delete my store?
To protect the end-consumer and logistics, no QR Codes will be deactivated. Claimed items and unsold inventory will simply become “orphaned” from the Merchant account and will continue to function normally.
