Terms of Use

Last updated: May 27, 2026

Welcome to MyQrMood. These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the platform. Because MyQrMood operates as a B2B2C platform, these terms are divided into sections specifically for the end-consumers who scan the codes (End-Users) and the businesses generating them (Merchants).

1. End-User Terms (Scanning & Claiming)

If you purchased a physical product equipped with a MyQrMood code, the following rules apply:

  • Ownership (The Claim Rule): The first person to scan a newly printed QR Code and link it to their email address becomes its sole owner. Once claimed, the Merchant who printed the code no longer has control over its destination.
  • Acceptable Use: You control the destination content (such as links, gifs, or texts). You strictly agree not to use the platform to share illegal content, hate speech, harassment, or malware.
  • Moderation: The platform utilizes utilize automated security checks (including Google Web Risk) and user reports. We reserve the right to suspend any QR Code (status isSuspended) that violates these terms, without prior notice.
  • No Passwords & Account Security: MyQrMood does not create or store passwords. Access to your QR Code dashboard relies entirely on your Google account (OAuth) or the email inbox where you receive your Magic Links. Keeping those external accounts secure from unauthorized access is strictly your responsibility.

2. Merchant Terms (Store Owners & Creators)

If you use MyQrMood to generate dynamic QR Codes for physical products, you agree to the following:

  • Intellectual Property: You declare that you hold the copyrights or commercial licenses for all templates, SVGs, PNGs, and logos you upload. MyQrMood assumes no liability for copyright infringement on physical products sold by Merchants.
  • Infrastructure & Fair Use: You agree not to abuse the system. Automated bots and circumvention attempts will trigger our Rate Limiters, resulting in IP bans or account suspension.
  • File Availability (Rehydration): For maximum efficiency and privacy, final merged high-resolution print files are generated client-side on your device. We do not permanently store these matrices. If you delete an original Design Template from your gallery, you permanently lose the ability to download past QR Codes attached to it.
  • Account Deletion (Orphan Rule):Deleting your Merchant account is irreversible. However, to protect consumers and logistics, no QR Codes will be deactivated. This applies to both claimed codes and unclaimed codes that might currently be in transit or on store shelves. They will simply become “orphaned” from your Merchant account.
  • Physical Product Liability: MyQrMood does not refund physical printing costs. It is your responsibility to verify template configurations (e.g., inverted modes) before sending zip files to your manufacturer.

3. Payments & Credits

  • Merchant of Record: Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. They handle all payment processing, local taxes, and billing inquiries.
  • Credit Consumption:The platform operates on a pay-as-you-go model. Credits (“Moods”) are irrevocably deducted the moment the unique QR Code and its dedicated dashboard access are successfully generated in the database. If your browser fails to download the final artwork ZIP file, you are not charged again; you can freely regenerate and download your previously generated files at any time via the History page.
  • Refund Policy: Due to the infrastructural cost of allocating permanent routing, unused and partially used credits are strictly governed by our Refund Policy. Disputing a valid chargeback via your credit card provider may result in immediate account suspension and deactivation of the associated unassigned QR Codes.

4. Service Continuity Guarantee

Transparency is a core platform value. In the unlikely event that MyQrMood ceases operations, we provide an ironclad Continuity Guarantee. The Edge routing infrastructure (via Cloudflare) is guaranteed to remain active for at least 24 months following the platform's closure, ensuring all active QR Codes seamlessly redirect to their respective End-User destinations without interruption.

5. Third-Party Integrations & As-Is Provision

  • External APIs: The automated order queue relies on the availability of third-party APIs (such as Printful and Gelato). MyQrMood is not responsible for syncing delays, unfulfilled orders, or downtime originating from these external providers. You are responsible for keeping your third-party accounts active and compliant.
  • As-Is Service:The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranty of any kind.

6. Jurisdiction and Governing Law

These Terms of Use and your relationship with MyQrMood (excluding the financial transactions processed by Paddle) shall be governed by the laws of Brazil. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in João Pessoa, Paraíba, Brazil, to resolve any legal matters arising from the use of the platform infrastructure.
